"The ‘070 photo shows the red dot unmoved again, and a pair of bright dots, badly smeared, probably by camera motion and overexposed.  Assuming this is the same object as in the previous photos, the object is higher (closer) and appears larger.  I can’t eliminate a pair of aircraft landing lights as a cause of this object."

Daytona Beach Boomerang

Daytona Beach Oct. 10, 2008 At 7:50 pm I was packing my car for a trip home this weekend from the side of my Dorm facing Daytona Beach International, at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU). At about 7:51pm I briefly turned around to grab my suitcase and glanced up noticing an extremely large Boomerang shaped aircraft that appeared to have just entered the atmosphere. It had 5 lights (all of which where a bright grey in color) and appeared to be at least a mile in length when comparing the Cessna's and 737 flying in the area. After I saw it I watched it until it entered cloud cover and from its vector appeared to be heading SW of my position at ERAU. [MUFON CMS]

Ocala Hovering Triangle

Ocala, March 5, 2008 While I was driving to work during the middle of the first full week of March I was driving past wild waters on Silver Springs Boulevard. I noticed a strange object in the distance. It was muggy outside and the sky around the city had an orange hue reflecting the streetlights from the moisture in the air. Looking at the object, I noticed that even though it was so humid outside, the object was a perfect triangle (three 60 degree angles) and it had three glowing lights near the corners of the triangle. Although it had three lights glowing on the object, there was no illumination of the triangle. It was all black besides those lights. It was floating lazily towards the local airport. It had no flashing or landing lights. I saw it for approximately three minutes until the tree line obscured the object and I arrived at work. I felt a little nervous at the time but more of amazement than fear. I was going to write in sooner but was afraid to be ridiculed, but withholding the sighting I realized made me part of the problem than the solution.[MUFON CMS]

Jensen Beach Triangle

Sept. 20, 2008. I was walking my dog down the street when I saw what looked like a star; then I realized it was more than one dot. It was moving towards me at a very high altitude. I first thought it was a flock of birds flying in a V formation. The triangle then disappeared into the clouds for 2 to 3 seconds and that's when I ruled out the bird idea because of how tight the formation was, how high the formation was, and how fast the formation was. This formation traveled all the way across the sky in a matter of 10 to 25 seconds. The formation did not stop and go, it just kept flying almost straight south. As a pilot in training, I am fairly familiar with the way certain aircraft act. This or these objects did not have any strobes or red/green lights on wing tips. The objects also did not make any noise  whatsoever. I am a huge aviation fanatic, and my friends tell me I'm obsessed with military aircraft. I have never seen or heard of anything like this before in my entire life. Looking up into the sky, if you hold your hand up, it appeared to be about two to four inches in length. [MUFON CMS]

Ft. Lauderdale Triangle

Ft. Lauderdale Sept. 19, 2008 -- At around 10.15 on September 19, 2008, my neighbor was sitting on a chair outside when a strange object passed over him going south about 1,500 feet west of the Fort Lauderdale airport west of I-95 crossing the landing and takeoff way. It was a triangular shaped object with white lights underneath and no noise was heard from this thing heading for Miami. We never saw any plane north-south always east-west or west east. I include a drawing of it. At 1.30 AM, I called TV Channel 7 News to see if someone had reported something similar but they said no. MUFON CMS.

Clearwater Lights in 3/4 Large Circle

Clearwater Sept. 19, 2008  I was on the phone with a friend on my dock in the back yard and was watching the sky. I thought I saw something moving very slowly over the water facing the west of the Gulf of Mexico. All of a sudden there was a very large object with around 10 steady lights, with 4 missing lights to make a perfect circle. It was moving very fast to the south. I ran in to get my husband but when we ran out it was gone. I was so shook up I couldn't even talk or catch my breath. It was the most exciting thing I have ever seen in my life. I can't tell you it was a UFO of anything else. I will say it was something I have NEVER seen before in the sky. MUFON CMS

Black Rotating Tingle with Black Object Leading

Ft. Lauderdale August 13, 2008. This hazy August evening a friend of mine and I were walking the dog and my friend looked up at the moon and said,"What is that object by the moon?" I looked up to the moon in the eastern dusk sky and we both identified a black triangular object traveling northeast, about an inch below, at arm's length, beneath the moon. There was another unidentifiable black object about 45 degrees in front and above the triangle, traveling in the same northeast direction. The triangular object was rotating clockwise while travelling forward. The animation of the July 28th sighting in Jacksonville, FL, which is on SKYSCAN, is exactly what the larger, triangular object looked like. The objects were moving slowly and not at any type of speed for ascending or descending aircraft normally found in the area. There were no sounds. There were no planes in the sky leaving Ft Lauderdale Int'l Airport, nor could it have been a plane in the distance going to/from Miami International, because these objects were within naked eyesight and before the haze diminished visibility. Wondering if anyone else saw and if MUFON or SKYSCAN wants to contact, please feel free to do so. Triangular UFO

Jacksonville July 28, 2008 I would like to report a Triangular/delta UFO. I was driving from NC Fayetteville to Daytona Beach Fl, and about 10:00 pm July 28, 2008 , I was 17 miles north of Jacksonville Fl. on Highway I-95, when I saw this strange flying object hovering over the highway. I was driving about 70 mph when I saw this object.  At first I thought that it was a helicopter giving tickets from the air , so I reduced the speed  to 60 mph, (300 feet horizontal distance and about 50 to 80 feet vertical altitude ) but when I got closer to the object I realized that it was not a helicopter. (At that moment I was about 70 feet horizontal distance and 50 feet to 80 feet vertical altitude) then the UFO starting to move to my left side (90 degrees from driver seat) at the point I was thinking that it was a small airplane because I did not see the rotors but the object was moving to slowly, about 10 mph, and did not have beacon lights, nor red or green lights like airplanes. It did not have the shape of an airplane nor the sound, it was silent because I rolled down my window and I heard only the engine of my car , it had triangular or delta shape with 3 white lights one in each corner of the triangle shape(underneath). The color was metallic gray, the borders were rounded and it appear to have like layers of metal , object size about 35 feet long , the lights were about 30 inches when I noticed and realized that was not an airplane nor helicopter. I pulled over the side of the highway and I got out of my car. At this moment the object it was about 300 feet and at the same altitude but about my 6 o'clock and then it went over the trees about my 5 o'clock and it disappeared between the trees. This happened within 2 to 3 minutes time frame.  After I arrived at Daytona Beach and told my friend what happened and I described  the object ,  we went to the internet looking for UFO shapes and we found the shape.

Greenish Yellow Beam

Ft. Lauderdale July 27, 2008 We were driving back from cruising down A1A to South Beach. We decided to return home on I-95 Northbound to Deerfield Beach. As we admired the light show of the lightning reflections behind each individual cloud, I noticed, though, that the clouds were no longer individually placed against the sky. They had now converged over a certain area. None of the lightning was touching down to Earth. A coned/cylindrical shaped, greenish-yellow light beam was projected down from the converged clouds onto an area of Ft. Lauderdale. The beam was rather wide. We were about 4-5 miles away, I would guess. This beam was too wide to be from a helicopter, it came from way too high and was not copter quality light. It was not translucent. I am very familiar with those search lights which come out yellowish white or white. There was no copter during or after the phenomenon. This beam just shone down and did not search around. It lasted about 2-3 seconds. We all were stunned. I said, "Ughhhhh, hmmm, that was not a search light, now, was it?" All answered, "No!"

New Port Richey Huge Cigar

NEW PORT RICHEY July 4, 2008.-- This report was phoned in shortly after the sighting on July 4, 2008. A couple were watching fireworks and noticed a huge cigar shaped object that was very bright and flickering at 10:07 PM.. The object flew slowly southward. Two witnesses were interviewed. One of witnesses has extensive experience in aviation and is a certified jet mechanic for U.S.Airways. He stated that this object was "not of this world".

COMMENT: This sighting is significant because of the aviation background of the primary witness and the fact that many other witnesses saw the object. I don't believe that the object was related to the fireworks display, but that is likely the reason why the witnesses noticed the object. I have no explanation for this sighting. Daytona Beach Cigar, Disks

Daytona Beach, July 13, 2008. Five UFOs sighted, one cigar shaped and four flattened Christmas ornament shaped, thicker than movie saucer shape anyway. We live near Moody and are both military brats, now middle age. Have seen a lot of planes and these were not planes. Noticed the cigar shaped one first and did not see others until I got out binoculars to look in that area, as they had some cloud cover. With binoculars I could see the metal and steam-like haze around them. Excellent "camo"; we were impressed. One was huge. Could not believe it was real but metal could be seen with haze cover with binoculars. Without blended well with clouds. Had to have known to look. If I had not been very used to seeing planes, I would never have noticed the cigar shaped object. I attempted pictures also but they did not turn out well. I do not expect anyone to believe us, as beach folk were walking and did not appear to notice that we could see. Most eyes were on several groups of porpoises swimming northward close to the beach, one group after another that went on for about an hour before, during, and after the sighting.[MUFON CMS]

Daytona Beach Airshow Ring

Daytona Beach July 11, 2008. During the Pensacola Blues air show I was standing at the center of the crowd. Early in the show, about 35 minutes into the show, I was observing a bi-plane doing his maneuvers with much smoke. Suddenly, I noticed this circular object and initially thought it was a smoke ring. The smoke from the biplane dissipated and the object remained the same size and shape moving slowly in an easterly direction. In the photos it appears to be on a slant. The last image I saw of it leveled off. It disappeared behind cloud cover. I showed my photo to several people and they claim to have seen it as well. I am a former crew chief , aircraft mechanic, on F-4's and I know what aircraft look like. This was something I have never seen before. What you see in the photo is what I saw with the naked eye. I took the photo because that's what I saw with the naked eye.[MUFON CMS]

Clearwater Triangle and Disc

Clearwater June 1, 2008. I have seen many UFOs in the past year and I had just posted my accounts here on MUFON a couple of days ago (5/30/08). Not even a week later (Monday June 01, 2008), I witnessed the most alien craft in 1 day. 9:30 Driving with my buddy Lucas to go pick someone up. I saw a floating light descending from the sky ahead to the North as I have seen UFOs do before. I was a little wary but continued driving. 9:40 As we were arriving to Justin's house, I looked to the North again and saw  6-7 flashing and glowing lights descending from the sky like earlier. They moved behind the trees as we arrived at Justin's house. We left with Justin heading west towards the Gulf of Mexico. 9:45 We turned North onto a street that runs along side Clearwater Beach. We were now headed to Brandy's house to pick up Max, Brandy, and John. Now we can see the objects clearly. They were FLOATING TRIANGLES. They had descended onto North Clearwater and were now dispersing in all directions. The closest one was about 0.5 miles due East flying at 500-800 ft silently. It was an easily discernible triangle shape and it was wobbling as it floated. Each tip was illuminated with intensely bright yellow lights and a red light in the middle. Each light was flashing at separate intervals. The flash would create an intense glow around each corner. The middle red light would also become brilliantly bright. There were 2 other exact triangles in our immediate vicinity. We arrived at Brandy's house. 9:50 Max, Brandy, and John told us they can see the triangles at Brandy's house. Now collectively there are Lucas, Justin, Max, Brandy, and John and me. There is not enough room in Lucas's truck so I had to sit in the trunk (which I kinda wanted to do anyway so I could see the sky). We proceed South towards Largo. As we drove I could see the triangles every few minutes dipping around. As I was staring at one of the triangles hovering the car stopped because we thought there was a big triangle approaching from the North. It actually turned out to be a 757 flying low. We laughed at the irony, but as we laughed I noticed that the triangle I had been staring at disappeared as the 757 arrived. 10:00 We continued South and arrived at a Duncan Donuts in Largo. A few minutes after we arrived we spied a UFO headed east to west with a triangle formation of light on a bigger scale. It was about 150 long and was enormous. It was bigger than the 757 and made no sound as it floated slowly. We could see how thin the triangle was and were becoming frantic. 10:30 We head back North towards Dunedin to John's house. Halfway up there are twin white lights headed towards us from the North. The craft was enormous and the tip was pointed South. The strange thing was is that it was floating east slowly without turning. As we drove directly under it we could see a complex light pattern with up to 10 lights. I could see the design of the craft and it looked similar to an SR-71 blackbird, or the the ship that the X-Men used in the movies. It was silent and stopped. The tip suddenly turned east and it rapidly accelerated towards Tampa. We then arrived at John's house. 11:30 All of us had been chilling for awhile at John's house outside and I was still pretty excited about all the crazy things I saw so I looked towards the northern sky to see if anything was there. Immediately I see a classic dark grey disc hovering and rotating about 100 ft directly above Dunedin High School, the school I graduated from. I pointed it out to my friends and then it started moving. It flitted down and to the right really fast, and then quickly back up to the top right a little bit. It kept flitting around in the same general vicinity and every once in a while a faint blue light would turn on and spin around with the disc. From just seeing a few minutes of this event we are all wiggin' out so we run out into the street to meet up with the UFO. As we approached the saucer its movements become more erratic and then it zoomed off out of view in an instant. We returned to John's house and didn't see anything else the rest of the night.

Two Triangle Shaped Lights

Tampa Bay June 15, 2008. Went outside to walk the dogs for the last time, and noticed a bright light in the southern sky (toward MacDill AFB) It is a cloudy night, so there are no stars present. At first it appeared to be a star, but as we looked at it more closely, we could see a clear separation point making it two distinct lights. They are still there as I type this. 11:27 P.M. They are described by my daughter as orange/white in color. They appear to be completely motionless other than a slight "fading" action, or pulsating. Okay, 11:31 P.M. and they are now GONE! I got out the seldom used video camera, and of course the battery is dead, so we tried with a camera phone, but I don't think we got anything. As far as the shape, it was two triangles right next to each other. The one on the left was standing on it's point, while the one on the right was sitting on it's base. When I say triangle, I mean pyramid shaped. My first reaction was "That's an airplane" as we are right under the flight path for TIA, but that was soon discarded as it didn't move a bit. Now, as I tried to reason with myself, I thought maybe it is going away from me, or coming towards me, but it stayed at the same altitude, didn't get any brighter, dimmer, or smaller or bigger. It stayed exactly the same for as long as I could see it. About a half an hour. As far as losing sight of it, I was typing this report and looked up to check on it and it was just plain gone. I am curious if anyone else reports this.

Palm Bay Object Brightens and Dims

Palm Bay, June 14, 2008. My brother and I went outside to smoke a cigarette in the driveway when a sudden glare of light appeared in the sky very low to the ground. The glare reduced to a small and dimmer light we both entered the street and when we did the light became very bright again then reduced to a dimmer light once again. The object slowly started moving in our direction and we started walking towards it so we could get a good look at what we were seeing.   We kept saying to each other, " Is that a UFO?" while walking towards it. once it passed over our heads we could see all the different lights and that it was so close to us.  We didn't hear any noise like plane engines. We knew it wasn't a plane. There were many lights when it passed over us and it had many flashing red lights. Then it moved past us and went off into the distance behind the trees with no sound or anything.Then I came in and wrote you guys (my feelings were excited, shocked intense moments)(my brothers feelings: scared, shocked, amused)

Miami Massive Barbell

Miami, May 25, 2008 7:26 A.M. I was outside looking in the same area of sky that I filmed my Easter UFO sighting and noticed a commercial jet leaving a contrail. When the plane passed directly overhead I noticed a large barbell-shaped object stationary in the sky. I noticed the object become smaller and then back to its original size. Then, it slid or glided- from a stationary position about 1/3 the sky's distance- like on water- and back to its original position. This object was much higher than the haze at high altitude and much higher than air traffic. It was enormous! I could see the object's shading and it appeared to be white. I ran inside after a few minutes, grabbed my video camera and asked my girlfriend to come outside. She saw the object but could not focus on it. I filmed it but the UFO was much too high for my video camera to distinguish and it looks like a white blurry dot in the sky. It may still be there because the thin high clouds covered the object. I am going to keep an eye out.

Titusville White Line Appears Before Shuttle Launch

Titusville May 31, 2008. 5:00 P.M. My wife and I stopped on the side of state highway 46 approximately 20 miles from Titusville along side a treeless wide open vista looking in the direction of Titusville along with five or six other vehicles with people waiting to view the most recent shuttle launch. 30 seconds or so before the launch ( we were listening to the count down on our car radio) my wife said "what is that?" and pointed to a large object, white in color hanging motionless in the clear sky approximately 20 degrees from where the shuttle would rise into the sky. She instantly knew it was absolutely something not normal and it was not moving at all. It stood out like a sore thumb, so to speak. It was about the size of a quarter on edge held at arm's length and about the thickness of a 747 when viewed from 3 miles or so. I estimate it was about 20 miles from our location and must have been huge if viewed up close. After viewing it for 30 seconds or so the shuttle launched and our attention was diverted to the shuttle. We watched the shuttle go up until it was no longer visible approx. 1-2 minutes. When I looked for the UFO after the shuttle was no longer visible the UFO was gone.. zip. For it to vanish in that short of time it would have to have traveled extremely fast or cloaked as it did not come our way. I have believed in UFO's for a long time but my wife has been skeptical but she knows she saw something that was not conventional and should not have been there. I absolutely know many other people must have seen this object and that is why I am posting this to see if other people might write in to provide other witnesses.

Longwood Large Hockey Puck

Longwood, March 23, 2008. I stepped out of my door to smoke, looked up and saw a very large white hockey puck looking struction, saw it break horizen to over my head in approx 4sec. left no trail . Panama City, March 23, 2008I and my husband was on the way home and it had been raining that day was clouded getting dark i was on my lap top and my husband said what! I look up and all you could see was two huge lights hanging in the air,we were about a mile from it at that time, i said a helicopter kept messing around on laptop.My husband said it not moveing.they he got my attention. we where right at it by this time and notice the huge lights oval shape with rotor blades in front of this craft.This craft was in some cloud's and you just could see it!!!the light's was so bright as i bent my head to see if i could get a better look it turn off it's lights you still could see barely with two small orange lights where the big two oval light was ,then it was gone... this happen on Back Beach RD in Panama City Bch FL

Grassy Key Gold Lights Make U-Turn

Grassy Key, FL March 11, 2008.. I was staying with family just next to the Dolphin Research Center in Grassy Key, FL back in March. My girlfriend and I were sitting in the hot tub staring towards the East sky. About 10pm, I saw two round gold-yellow points of light fade into view quickly, side by side and make a u-turn about 6 feet to the right and just a hair lower of the constellation, [Scorpio?] They dropped into the sky further, then the two spread apart slightly at the apex of the turn, then rose back up and moved closer together while disappearing at an angle to the left and above the entry point. It only lasted for a few seconds, and I only yelled out as much as "cool! Met-e-o-rrr..." to my girlfriend before I realized it wasn't. I have to admit that I jumped the gun a bit and thought I had my first "UFO" sighting but after talking with my father a few minutes later we were left wondering if it were a pair of jets making a high speed bank turn in the distance or something going on up at Disney World? Just wondering if there were any other reports from that night, or if these could be lasers/light show or anything like that?

Altamonte Springs Lighted Object

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS March 21, 2008 -- My friend and I were behind his house on March 21, 2008, about 12:30 to 1:00 AM, and we heard a really loud sound that didn't sound like anything we heard before. We were shook by it, but we saw a regular plane go overhead and dismissed it. Then we looked over the lake and saw what looked like a bright star.

It was so bright, wasn't blinking, and was bobbing up and down slowly. Then I noticed it was also moving to the right. By that time it was maybe 50 miles away. Slowly it moved closer and closer. Each time it made a big jump we heard the same sound as we heard a few minutes earlier. When we noticed that it was coming closer we ran out to the shore of the lake to get a better view. Then it was close enough to see that it was more than one light. It had a large white light, with two blue lights on either side, and on the bottom it had two red lights. One light stayed on and the other was blinking. About a mile away now we had a pretty good look at it.

Then my friend realized we should take a picture with his phone, and he did and we looked at the one he took in disbelief. Right then it zoomed from in front of us to behind us with unbelievable speed and for about 5 seconds we had the best view of it you could possibly get. It had no visual signs of any type of propulsion, no propellers, so it couldn't have been a helicopter which is the only thing I thought could make those kind of moves through the air. After about a half an hour of waiting for it to come back I decided to come home.

Comments: The witness has provided a very detailed report. He has described an aerial phenomenon of a very unusual nature. More information needs to be acquired regarding the photo. It is uncertain whether or not the photo has been edited by any software after it was downloaded from the cell phone. I have enlarged the photo and brightened it in an attempt to discover more detail. The resulting brightening showed that the light left a trail. Triangular Object Near Broward

Broward County, March 15, 2008, 8:34 P.M.We were star-gazing and discussing the various constellations and stars, when my nephew stated that he saw something in the western sky that was very odd. We all saw what appeared to be a triangular shaped object with silver/white lights flying from south to north. It was a clear, near cloudless sky with a bright moon, so visibility was clear. At first I thought it was a flock of birds flying in a "V" formation and the moonlight was reflecting off of them. But then I saw a single white light blink one time, in what would be the rear center of the object. As it was going away from us to the north, it appeared to change trajectory as if it was turning or banking to one side (to its right), so that the lights then appeared to align in a straight line. There was no red or green lights. It was not an airplane or a helicopter. There was no sound. It is very difficult to estimate the height, but I would guesstimate it was about one-half mile high. The entire event only lasted about one minute

Triangle Over Tampa

Tampa, March 15, 2008.An unidentified flying object caught the attention of some Pasco County residents early Friday. Many described the object -- a rotating triangle of three white lights plus a flashing red light that stayed put -- as a UFO. The Pasco County Sheriff's Office says some Wesley Chapel residents called 911 around 6:25 a.m. wondering what was up -- literally. A deputy's report says it was a balloon, but doesn't get more specific than that.

Miami Beach Triangle

MIAMI BEACH, Feb.13, 2008 – On February 13, 2008, at 6 PM, I was driving east on the 41st Causeway towards the Beach when I noticed what I initially thought to be two very bright planes over the causeway. The intense white light caught my attention and as I drove forward I began to see that it was a metallic neutral tan color with lights blinking on either end. I turned off the radio and opened the windows as I slowly drove under it and I heard no sound. It was shaped like a triangle with rounded corners. Jacksonville Glowing Disk

Jacksonville, Dec. 3, 2007  I let my dog out to do his business and went out to enjoy the night air . I noticed a completely silent unfamiliar glowing object in the eastern night sky between my house and downtown Jacksonville . I got my 10 power binoculars and looked at it . It seemed to be a glowing saucer shaped object with some energy strings with what seemed to be bright bits of light going up and down coming out of the bottom into a ring area that constricted the "strings" then just below this these string of light spread out in a cone shape and got less bright the farther away from the ring area they got .This light formation underneath seemed to scan back and forth and right to left under the saucer shape like it was looking for something or maybe making a compete scan of the area . I went in the house and got my old digital camera and got three photos . The object stayed in sight for about 15-20 minutes . In my area I have seen many types of airplanes including the stealth bomber and fighter all sorts of other military and civilian aircraft including many different helicopters from the navy bases around here . I also have seen weather balloons , the blimps that come around for football games and hot air balloons . This did not match anything I have ever seen in person or on TV . Heck it didn't match anything I have seen on science fiction programs or movies . I have three raw photos some blown up and some crude computer drawings of what the heck ever it was I saw .[MUFON CMS files, Investigation in progress]

Black Object in Broward County

Oakland Park, October 1, 2007. I had received a mini dv cam for Christmas last year and I wanted to practice shooting video so I decided to go outside and shoot the airplanes going by. I pointed the camera up to capture a plane and that's when I saw this black object.  It looked very unnatural. My girlfriend was outside with me and she watched it with me. I tried to do the best I could at filming it but this was like the 3rd or 4th time I had ever used my camera.I filmed it until I couldn't see it anymore, it made no sound.and it seemed to come from out of no where.it kept changing shape and it was black on the outside with a bright light in the middle.[MUFON CMS files, Investigation in progress]

Lake Mary, Dec 3, 2007. Taking pictures of Christmas lights and set up the camera for a low light night shot. While out shooting multiple pictures of house, saw something out of the corner of my eye but dismissed it, when I got home I downloaded the photos and notice the streak on the one since I take in very high resolution I blew up the photo and looks like a disk that came down left to right then made a turn. I do not know what it is however I was standing in the driveway of the house and Sanford international airport is about 5 miles away and Orlando international is about 20....[MUFON CMS files]

Comet-Like Object

Ft. Myers, Dec. 11. 2007 ...at approximately 1800 hours...dark outside...clear sky, no clouds, nothing but stars... facing west at about 11;00 high, almost straight up...bright object, size of a quarter at arms length... looked like comet pictures, bright head w/ cone shaped white wide tail, not long tail, reminded me of what the shuttle blastoff is like with the short but bright cone tail, but ENTERING orbit. When we first seen it it was coming towards earth, head of it like a star with cone tail, kept coming towards us,but at orbit high...then after about 10-15 minutes it seemed to be moving away with the tail getting fog like, and couldn't see the bright head or front of the object...then dimmer and dimmer until it looked like a haze in the pitch black sky. Throughout the whole time it never traveled more than 6 inches, at arms length, across the sky. Everyone seen it here, daughter was visiting, she took video but she hasn't checked it yet, called my brother in Marco Island, an hour south of us, he seen it also, looked the same... Triangular Lights

SARASOTA, Dec, 21, 2007 -- I have been seeing objects moving around a lot in the skies these past 8 months. I enjoy lying outside at night to look at the sky and unwind at night, but lately it is more of a shocker looking at what's going on up there and wondering if anyone else is seeing any of this. I have tried to explain away many of the things I see, but now several people around me have seen them and they say no way is any of that a plane or such. Then this Friday, December 21, 2007, at about 1:30 AM, I went out onto my patio and as I walked out, there was a series of three extremely bright lights that powered up in a quick sequence about twenty feet in front of me and about 40 feet about the trees very quickly and then were gone in an amazing bright sequential flash, one two three.

Now you tell me, what could do that?

The lights were close to the ground but made no noise, and were just blindingly bright? The size of the lights was each about the size of a side of a mid-size car and they were triangular, but not pointed. The lights were rounded at the corners, but they were very bright, so I am sure that could skew my sight of the source, but they were all this shape and in a row and lit up simultaneously in a row, quite quickly and somewhat slanted upwards as though whatever it came from was headed up. >It is shocking and I know what I saw.

Investigator's Notes: The witness has described something quite unusual. The inclement weather conditions mean that whatever the witness sighted was close. Strange Circular Stationary Object

December 15, 2007. I was on my way home when I spotted an object was in the sky moving slow above US Highway 19 north. Then it began hovering. It had a blue light at the bottom that moved up and down with three lights at each corner. I always knew there were UFOs and I think they are from the future. Thanks to MUFON CMS

KISSIMMEE -- My 11 year old son and I witnessed a very strange circular stationary object in the western sky on December 14, 2007, from 11:30 to 11:50 PM in front of our home in Kissimmee. The object was stationary for 3 to 4 minutes before moving at medium speed towards the back of the house in an easterly direction. When the object was almost directly overhead, it began to flip on its side and then went back to flat. It was completely circular and larger than most commercial aircraft. The object had several lights all around the outer edge, and they were intensely bright.

It would flip back and forth and at this point we could see that the object was silver and the lights were a silverish white light. This craft was completely circular. We heard no sound. We ran to the back of the house as the craft continued east before turning to the north. We watched a lower flying airplane move from the west towards the unidentified craft. The craft turned towards us but as the airplane got closer the craft disappeared. There is no doubt this was not a typical aircraft.

Investigator's Notes: The witness has given a very accurate description of what she saw. She has described a classic "flying saucer" type object. UFO Over Cape Canaveral

Coco Beach Dec. 26, 2007 The witness was walking on the beach at Cherie Down Park, near Coco Beach FL. As he looked out over the ocean he saw a navy sub going out and over Cape Canaveral he saw an object like an inverted pie pan, metallic in appearance.There was an extension on top which he described as a plastic cake cover. The object had a horizontal line around the center. The object had no wings or propellors and there was no smoke coming from it. It was over the restricted air space at Cape Canaveral. He viewed it for about a minute, then when he looked away at the submarine, the object had simply disappeared. A woman was with the witness, but since she is blind, he did not mention the unidentified object to her.

Dark Object Over Winter Park

Winter Park.  I was standing by Lake Virginia at Dinky Dock Park this morning [week of Dec. 12, 2007] just after 7:30 A.M.  This is a daily ritual for me and the area is in the flight path of jets landing at Orlando International Airport, which is 10 miles to the south.

I was staring out over the lake when I looked up and noticed a black form flying toward the lakes from the west.  At first I thought it was a large bird such as a vulture or eagle circling over the lake.  The object was dark, big, silent, and was not traveling at a high rate of speed.  As I examined it more closely, I could see that it was not a bird.  The object descended, and for a moment, I thought it could be someone parachuting into town, but I didn't see evidence of a person beneath other object.  It stopped descending and began to slowly fly to the northeast, toward the Casselberry area.  Despite the object being very dark, the rear of the object reflected in the newly risen sun as it flew out of sight.  There are some cypress trees by the lake, which obscured my view of the object as it flew away.   When it was shining in the sun, it appeared to be spherical --I'm not sure if the object actually changed shape as I watched it, or if I had misjudged its shape when I first noticed. 

A few strange things about the object: It seemed to be flying low.  It was difficult to determine the shape.  It was completely silent.  It seemed big, but I was unable to determine its size without a nearby sufficient frame of reference.  It wasn't big enough to have obscured the moon had it flown over it.  My only thoughts on what it might have been are a balloon, but not a hot-air balloon.  It seemed to be following a definite flight path -- not randomly being carried by air currents and ascending and descending.  Also, the shape seemed to be off.  [Thanks to Peter Davenport, Director NUFORC]

Lake Wales Object Divides, Splits

Lake Wales, Nov. 17, 2007. We were at our annual father/daughter camp out near Lake Wales, Florida at the Circle F Dude Ranch, heavily attend by Vero Beach residents. At 6:37 pm, my daughter, myself and more than 50 fathers and daughters (possibly up to 100 but not sure) whose cabins faced the lake, saw 2 lights in the dark, western sky hovering. Very bright. Could hardly tell shape - they looked like circles. The 2 then joined together and became 1, then split apart, became 3 objects. They hovered then joined, became 1, then split again into 4, rejoined into 1, then split into 5. At that point, they hovered, became one again and disappeared, reappearing about 10-15 seconds later - as 1. Same bright intensity of light. Suddenly the light was gone. Waiting about 15 minutes and it never came back. My daughter tried to take a picture and we have 2 - one of which when light enhanced, shows 2 circular objects touching. The other shows obvious movement, which our daughter pointed was 2 then 3 lights. My husband is  former USMC and is 100% sure that he did not see either flares, aircraft or parachutists.  This event was witnessed by at least 50 fathers and daughters, many of whom were very scared. Five Orlando Cylindrical Objects

ORLANDO -- My mother and I met  for lunch at a Wendy's restaurant. It was a clear day, blue skies, not a cloud in sight. We were having lunch inside by the window when my mother said "what are those?" while looking up out the window. I looked out the window as well, which cast no reflection and the view was clear. We both could see five unidentified objects in the sky. They were all white in color and cylinder shaped. They appeared to be very high in the sky and all traveling together at a consistent pace. They definitely did not have any wings, visible lights, or appear to cast any reflection.   If my cell phone had a camera, I am confident that I would have been able to capture them easily as they were clearly visible to the naked eye. Coral Gables Silent Triangle Nov. 9, 2007

CORAL GABLES, MIAMI -- My wife, her friend and husband and I were having a chat in the backyard in Miami at around 9 PM, on November 9, 2007. I was fixing their computer, and discussing pollution when we saw a huge triangular shaped ship. It was making no noise. It looked unreal, flickered or changed colors to bluish. It appeared to be using some sort of camouflage. We all kept looking until the house blocked the view. ThBoca Raton White Objects

Boca Raton, Nov. 5 and 11, 2007. I have two accounts to report (with pictures):

Account #1 (11/05/07): While working at one of my two jobs (both at hi-rise condos on the beach in Boca Raton), I was looking out over the Atlantic Ocean from a Penthouse patio when I spotted a "white" object ascending and descending over the ocean. At the time I spotted the object (approx. 1:30 pm), about 2-3 miles out and about 2-3 miles North of the Boca Inlet, there were no craft (boats, planes, helicopters, etc.) near it. Soon after, what appeared to be a Charter boat, came out of the Inlet and traveled toward the direction of the object. The object then seemed to start "shadowing" the boat and was joined by a second "white" object. Both objects "shadowed" this boat for a good 2-2 1/2 hours before the boat returned into the Inlet and both just vanished prior to the boat getting within a mile of the Inlet. Account #2 (11/11/07): Very similar to Account #1 but, I was working at the hi-rise located between the Boca Inlet and the Deerfield Beach Pier and was at ground level. This sighting only had one "white" object and happened between 4:00 pm and 5:30 pm. This object stayed stationary over one area about 5 miles out. The objects in both accounts are very similar to each other and past photos (sightings reported) I've sent you. All photos taken with a Kodak Z740 Digital Camera set to Auto. Ft. Lauderdale Objects over Ocean

Ft. Lauderdale Nov. 11, 2007. A friend of mine and I were at Ft. Lauderdale Beach, looking out onto the ocean and around 2:10 pm noticed two metallic orbs about 25 miles off shore, 1/2 to 1 inch above the horizon. There were no boats around them. no apparent tethers. no contrails, smoke, or  things associated with propulsion aircraft. The object to the south hovered in the same spot. Around 2:25 P.M. the object went down directly into the Atlantic. The object to the north continued to hover until 3 P.M. when we left the beach.

Florida Disk Close Encounter With Shuttle

CAPE KENNEDY November 7, 2007   Fox TV captured the Space Shuttle Discovery on approach and landing. 

Analysis by Dr. Bruce Macabee, MUFON photoanalyst. "The video makes it clear that the camera was rotating to follow the shuttle. Since the shuttle image was not blurred (hardly blurred) in the direction of motion, the camera was evidently rotating at the correct speed. IF the shuttle was traveling at 300 mph (or whatever) and "standing still" in the video, then anything that was stationary or moving slowly in any direction would appear to be moving relative to the shuttle. A small object nearby or a larger one farther away would have its normally compact image stretched by the rotation of the camera. The length of the stretch would depend upon the rotation rate of the camera and the shutter time. Thus the highly blurred image of the "UFO" could be of a helicopter or bird or anything that happened to get into the field of view as the camera rotated.
Bottom line: can't say the object was a UFO."

Refrigerator in the Blue Sky

LAKELAND, November 5, 2007, I was traveling with the top of my jeep down on Highway 37 as the sun was setting at 5:35 PM. I was stopped at a traffic light and noticed a rectangle shaped object that resembled a stainless steel refrigerator in the blue sky 2,000 feet high. I observed it for about 45 seconds. When I pulled over the object disappeared. The object was bright and seemed to reflect the sun, but the sun was behind and below the object. The surface was metallic and smooth and I did not see any wings, lights, or other features. The wide part of the object had a wedge cut out of the center. This wedge had tapered sides and came together on a flat panel. It was about the size of fifteen 747s. It made no sound and did not appear to move but hovered in place without wobble or rotation. New Port Richey Sept. 3, 2007 -- We are normal people who do not report anything but we saw a real UFO on September 3, 2007. My husband and I and our two children were outside watching a storm at 9:45 PM, we saw a gray sky color flying triangle /kite shape it had no sound and no lights and it moved like a stealth bomber to the Southeast. Object Photographed, Sept 23, Noticed Oct. 7, 2007

Sept. 23, 2007. My wife and I were on vacation Sep 23 at Ocean Blue Motel on Vilano Beach at St Augustine FL. I took many digital photos during our 11 day vacation. We first noticed the object on Oct 7, while viewing the photos on our computer. I did not notice the object while taking the photo. I have many other photos of the area and sky, if needed. It was a strange weather day with times of brightness and the largest rainbow I have ever seen; I have photos of that too. There were times of rough, dark weather and storms in the area. Photos taken from the beach. Object was SW of my position on the beach. [The following analysis of the picture is from Chuck Reever, MUFON Chief of Investigations: "I believe it is an artifact of your Digital camera.  Being an amateur astronomer I have experience with Charge Couple devices.  This appears to be a “blooming” or over filling of the pixel array in that area.  This is not uncommon, and I have seen classic flying saucer pictures from cell phones.  The picture takes on somewhat the aperture configuration and can fool many investigators.  It only seems to occur when the camera is pointed pretty much in the direction of the sun.  At night this “blooming” takes on a “white” effect and during the daylight appears dark."]

Two Oblong Objects Heading South

Sanford Sept 14, 2007 -- I was heading home on Friday, September 14, 2007, on the 417 Greenway when I saw two oblong objects heading south in formation at 10:45 AM,. The lead was slightly lower than the second craft. They were very bright and stood out against the white cumulus clouds, being a much brighter white than the clouds.  I pulled over to the side of the road to watch them. They didn't seem to be moving very fast, when a Southwest airplane took off from Orlando International Airport flying north. Both objects were about twice the size of this jet and appeared to pass overhead of the aircraft. A few seconds later the trailing object did a 90 degree turn to the west and started picking up speed quickly disappearing in the distance. The remaining object picked up speed and continued to head south disappearing in the distance. I think the entire sighting may have lasted a couple minutes. Craft with Box and Streams of Light

Gulf Breeze Sept. 19, 2007 I was walking my dogs with my wife and 1 year old son around 7-8 p.m. on Wednesday September 19th 2007 and noticed a large very bright object in the sky. It seemed to have blue and yellow streams of light flying around it. At first I thought it might be a planet such as Venus so I just mentioned it to my wife and said let's see if it moves. So during our walk with our dogs we kept an eye on it. Then when we reached our house I could see it clear as day right from my front door step. It was far away but it looked unusual enough that I figured I would take a photo of it. As soon as I took the photo is start to move upwards at that is when I knew this was no star but could not figure out what else would glow so intensely and stay in one position for more than 10 minutes not to mention the strange strands of blue and yellow it had moving around it. After it moved upwards it slowing started to move towards us, but then it suddenly sounded like a small plane, we were in a bit of shock so I forgot to take another photo, and when I heard the plane engines I also thought it might just be an aircraft of some sought but still could not understand how it glowed so bright. Anyway, it flew right over our heads and I looked straight up underneath it. It was about the size of a large fighter jet but looked very different from anything I had seen before. It was a triangular shape on on each front side of the triangle were 3 massive lights. It didn't fly fast as it past over our heads. After this all happened I took my I-Phone in to my computer to get the photo off it.[Investigation completed by Bland Pugh who classifies it as IFO (Identified Flying Object]

Hat-Shaped Craft

Ft. Myers, August 24, 2007 While lying in bed half asleep, I was looking out my bedroom window which faces the East, over the adjacent golf course noticing an approaching object in the Southeastern sky. It first appeared to be an approaching plane but as it came closer, I could see it was more in the shape of a man's wide-brimmed hat with orange lights at the top, and around the brim there were multi-colored lights rotating in a clockwise direction and pulsating at the same time. It appeared to be a huge object based upon my estimate of its location in the sky, and the distance from which my Wife and I were viewing it. As it hovered, and we watched (for approximately 5-10 minutes) I grabbed the phone and called the local newspaper. Since it was so early in the morning, I got their message service and left a detailed message of what I was witnessing. As we continued to watch, I ran back into the house and searched for the telephone number of the Sheriff's office to report what I saw, and in my haste to get back to the sighting, I was unable to find the telephone number. As I ran back out to see the object, it had moved higher in the sky and to the South. As we continued watching, and as the Sunlight began to appear, the object disappeared. If I had to estimate its size, I would say it looked to be 300-500 ft. wide, and was approximately. 1,000 ft from the ground while it was hovering. It seemed to be positioned about a mile from where we live. Subsequent telephone calls to the local airports have determined there was nothing unusual in the sky that morning that was noticed by any airport authorities, or there were no reports made. Black Triangle With Lights on the Corners

Orlando Jan. 9, 2007 I was driving in my car on my way to culinary school and I noticed what I thought was going to be an airplane to my left, the direction of the airport and I frequently watch planes take off and come in for landing. But when I looked directly at the object, I saw it wasn't a plane, but a black triangle with bright white lights at each corner and it was no more than 500 feet above tree tops and was stationary. I kept looking at it for about a minute while driving and noticed a plane take off in the distance, which further showed me how stationary this object was. Ever so often after that I would keep watching the object and check back to the road since I was driving, and after a total time of about two minutes of looking at this object it disappeared while I was doing a road check. The road check lasted only 3 - 4 seconds and the object had completely vanished from sight. [Investigation completed by Denise Stoner, SSD]

Twelve Flying UFOs

Freeport, August 28, 2007. Two other friends and I were all watching the full moon cycle which was remarkable in itself, at roughly about three thirty AM, the stars were fully out and we were in an area where there were no nearby lights, so there was a very clear view of the sky and the first UFO we saw was very far out and was traveling extremely fast it was glowing all kinds of colors as it passed quickly through. we saw at least 10 different UFO's during this particular phase of the moon when it became fully darkened by some sort of lunar eclipse and the sky was extremely clear to see all the stars.each UFO we saw was star like, some traveling fast all were headed in a single straight line, never making any maneuvers, some disappeared as we watched others continued on their own little routes to wherever. the one that really caught everyone attention was just like the others, but seemed to be traveling toward our direction, it was coming along and just flared up fiery orangish reddish color very bright, enough to make all of us go "whoah" then quickly switched directions, and go back the way it came, glittering as it went. we kept seeing these little stars, some closer than others, all traveling on a single line course, we weren't sure if these could be satellites or not, we saw ten or more of these. none close enough to get a good description of the shape of the UFO, but all equally spectacular in itself. the spectacle continued until the sun began to rise and the stars faded, and we all felt extremely lucky to have witnessed all this activity that went on during this three hour period of time.. [The Pressed Meteor Shower officially ended August 15, but these objects may have been meteors from the shower which occurs when the Earth passes through the orbit of comet Swift-Tuttle.]

St. Lucie Sphere

St. Lucie August 19, 2007.I was taking my son fishing for his birthday. We were heading north on the Indian river when we saw it heading east . it was as bright as an arc welding light and appeared for just a few seconds and disappeared just as fast as it appeared . in clear sky several miles from nearest cloud .it was moving quite fast, maybe 2x as fast as commercial airplane at similar altitude . I felt surprised but not alarmed . my family over the years have witnessed quite a lot of strange sights , nothing as elaborate as close encounters but still pretty amazing . I had a second sighting from my front yard in June of this year at 1230 pm . it appeared opaque and very high in the sky . at first I thought it may be a weather balloon , but it zig zagged several times then completely changed direction back to where it was 1st seen . the week after I saw it again in same place making same maneuvers and going out of sight just like week before.

Tallahassee Bright "Headlights" Above and Behind Trees

Tallahassee May 2007. I was taking my mother home between 9 and 10 pm. I was driving down a winding road, cleared a curve, and ahead about 1/4 mile above and behind a stand of pine trees (edge of Maclay Gardens) was what looked exactly like the headlights of a jeep. I mean the lights were as big as jeep headlights coming at you 20 feet away. The lights were wobbling a bit and I thought it was moving forward, towards me. My thought was "that plane is about to hit those trees." I made a bend in the road and the lights were obscured for 1-2 second by trees. When I had a clear shot again, the lights were dipping down behind the trees. My car windows were closed, and when I saw the lights dipping I opened my window, but heard no sound. At that point I mentioned the lights to my mother, but she didn't see them. I came to the end of the road, turned left and kept looking in my mirrors to see them again, but did not. I have seen a few things that I wonder about, but this was was different, in that it was close and the lights were not small. Had it been a helicopter or plane, I would have heard it and/or it would have crashed into the trees.

Clay County Circles in Upside Down Triangle

Clay County, Jan. 11, 2007. In 2007 Jan 11 I  about 7:00  I looked north and then I saw these white circles -- flat looking orb bluish UFO's it had to be about 7-16 they were flying in formation as in an upside down triangle with the point facing east as if they were going back to Israel because I live in Florida and it's located east of Florida.

Extreme Bright Light

Winter Park, Sept 24, 2006. I awoke unusually early, approx. 5:00 AM I had a strange urge to step outside on the porch. After fighting the urge, I still went outside. I lit a cigarette. It was dark outside. Then I looked up in the sky. I couldn't believe what I saw. There was an absolutely disproportionately humangous "star" in the blackness of the sky. At first I thought it was an airplane flying low. But it had no landing lights flashing. Then I realized it wasn't moving. I also heard no noise. It was just hovering stationary and silent. I thought to myself, I must be dreaming. Then I tried to discern a shape. But the thing was so immensely bright that I could not see into its center, so as to find a shape. It was an abnormally intense bright white, visibly radiating rays of extreme bright light outward. Activity-wise it was almost as if it was "very twinkling", but when I looked at the other stars for comparison, it out-twinkled them all. There was an energy movement about it, radiating this brightness outward. And for a moment I could feel a "neurotic" response in my fingertips, shooting down to my toes, as if a lot of sharp needles had penetrated me all at once. At this, I went to stay close to my door, ready to run back inside, as I became afraid. There I stood, trying to draw reference points in the landscape, in order to remember the position of this "star". I noticed clouds in the wind, as they moved in the sky, and as they passed, they momentarily blocked out the regular stars, yet the big "star" was not at all affected by it, as it would not disappear "behind" the clouds, like the rest of the stars. Instead, the clouds passed behind it and its light outshone the clouds. Then I tried to discern a reference size between the normal stars and this one in question. The normal ones were so tiny in comparison, like the point of a pencil-tip, compared to a 25 cent American quarter. [Investigation in progress.]
