FIRST ANNIVERSARY SIGHTING

Raul and his friend Carlos Rodriguez, a computer engineer were near Raul's home which is on a hill  overlooking Topo Chico Mountain.  They had been examining pictures that were taken of the white "cigar" a year before.   At about 8:30 P.M. the men were surprised to observe a fire on Topo Chico Mountain.   They began to take pictures of the fire but did not see anything strange at that time.  (When the film was developed the pictures showed that UFOs were present.)

At 9:50 P.M. the men observed a sphere emerging from the mountain and hovering over the fire.   Raul waited a minute to ascertain if the light could be a helicopter, but the light did not move and did not illuminate the fire zone.  He began to take pictures every 20 seconds, using a timer.  (The complete series of 24 pictures can be seen on request.) After the 6th or 7th picture Raul asked the UFO to increase its size and it did so.  Then Raul said "Please move" and it responded by drifting very slowly to the east (right side of picture).

Carlos said "It's incredible, the UFO is responding to you!"

As the UFO was moving the fire died down and when the UFO disappeared, the fire disappeared also.  This, in spite of a strong wind and the position of the fire in a place difficult to access. 

This sighting was announced on the Jaime Maussan Radio Program in Mexico City on April 25, 1999.  At that time on a live interview, Raul related the possibility that the fire, perhaps a small volcanic eruption, was actually caused by the UFO-sphere which controlled the event!
