Sighting by Two Near Sarasota

Brad and Michelle were driving separate cars home from at dinner at Brad’s parents’ house. There had been a thunderstorm in the area at 9:30, but it had passed and the sky was partly cloudy. The witnesses do not remember seeing the moon. On their usual way home, they noticed an extremely fast moving object going from north to south across the road. Michelle called Brad on the cell phone to verify what they both saw and then got off the phone. When they turned down a small road with no street lights toward their home at about 10:02 they both noticed at the red light a huge object just hovering right above their cars and beaming "stadium lights" down on the road. Brad looked in the rear view mirror and suddenly the object was gone. Again they called each other on their cell phones to verify what they saw. Michelle reported that the radar detector on her car failed at the time of the second sighting, but worked later. Brad noted that the road did not have any cars on it at the time of the sighting, although usually they encountered other cars at that location. They were passing some fields when the object flew over the cars.

They said that the object could have been covered by a basketball at arm’s length.  Brad felt calm after the sighting but Michelle said that she was scared. [Thanks to William Puckett, www.ufosnw.com  ]
