Thomas estimated the distance from the object at under 5 miles and said that it seemed to collapse on itself and then suddenly disappear. The pictures were taken with a Minolta 2005 SLR 35 MM with a zoom lens. The camera was set on repeat.

Thomas' UFO pictures were sent to MUFON photoanalyist, Jeff Sainio.  Basically he said that there was little that he could analyze because the object was indistinct, but he made an overlay of the four UFO photos which he believes were all taken within 30 seconds. He put in some light poles for alignment and showed what he thinks was the path of the object during the shooting. He said that planes don't typically turn that fast, so he believes we "have something" here.
