Miami Amber Lights 3-410
Miami, FL June 30, 2004. I went to walk my dogs. It was about 1215 when I left. I took the dogs, I walked up a block, I heard an airplane. I looked up because its dark, I like to look at the lights, theyre pretty. I watched the airplane for a few seconds and then as I could see the tail end of the airplane I at first thought that I saw something shoot out of it. It was golden-amber in color. It was moving in the direction of the plane, so I knew that it wasnt something that was shot out of the plane. Then I said Oh, thats really cool I just saw a shooting star, even though it wasnt the color or the height at which you would usually see a shooting star. And it disappeared. The dogs are still kind of sniffing around I looked up at the sky and saw the same colored light, same size, coming from the opposite direction and flying in the opposite direction of the first one I saw. It also lasted about 20 seconds or so. About a minute later I saw it again coming from a third different spot and heading back to the original spot where they all kind of convened. Then I came back into the house and I thought I had been outside for 10, maybe 15 minutes, but it was 1255 in the morning, so I went to bed. Even though the lights were really pretty and I was happy when I saw them, when I went to bed I got terrified and couldn't sleep and had to turn all the lights on inside my house so I could try and rest.
INVESTIGATOR'S STATEMENT: The witness was very cooperative and welcomed us into her home which was within a mile of the small Tamiami Airport. She is accustomed to seeing various kinds of aircraft. Her descriptions of the sighting did not vary, except that she added that she thought she was out for only 10 or 15 minutes but later found that it was 40 or 45 minutes. After taking the details of the sighting, we walked the tree-lined block to the intersection where the witness had stopped with her dogs to see the airplane on June 30. There was a good view of the sky from this point. We calculated the direction of the plane and the moving lights with a compass. She indicated that a cloud was at the height of the plane she saw, allowing us to estimate the height of the plane and the amber lights. This is the third "possible" UFO sighting that she has had. Miami, FL July 31, 2004. I had a friend over for dinner, probably about 2 weeks after we met. He decided to walk the dogs with me, and he took one out about 5 minutes before I left with the other. So he was a block or more away-toward the school-when I got out there. And he started walking back towards me. And suddenly, really loudly and clearly, I heard my name whispered right in my ear. I gasped and jumped, it was really scary. I told you I've heard that before, but it is usually in my house, and I tell myself it's the fan or something. Then my friend caught up with me, and said, "I just saw a shooting star." He went on to tell me that it was "amber, and fell straight down, and disappeared." He told me it was the largest thing in the sky that night except for the moon, and wasn't as high as the other stars. Sound like a shooting star to you? To me, it sounds more like what I saw before, but as I didn't see it this time I have no idea. I didn't want to freak my friend out, so I really didn't say anything about it. It would have resulted in a giant eyeroll anyway."

Blinding Light in Sky, Large Boom, NASA Showing Up 3-396
Casselberry, FL July 4, 2004. 7:30 P.M.
Here is the original post just feel like I really want to share this information with some of you, and maybe you could tell me what you think about this, since im still wondering what might be going on. I live in Florida in a very small city called Casselberry. On July 4th, at around 730pm me, my husband and son drove to Cocoa beach about 1 hr from our house to get some fireworks at the last minute. When we got back we went over to my parents house who live right next door to us. My mother and brother were both afraid telling us what had happened.
My brother was in his room and my mom was in the living room, they both said there was a continuos HUGE explosion as if we were being attacked by missiles followed by a light so bright in the sky that blinded some for seconds after seeing it this was at night. My mom said the doors and windows were shaking and it was the scariest thing they had ever seen or felt. Everybody ran outside to see what was happening but there are no answers as to what might have happened. This only happened in the city of Casselberry Florida, Nowhere else in Florida, nobody knows about this except Casselberry residents, and now everyone were telling about this.
Just today I was listening to the radio and the DJ was having those who live next to the area where it happened explain what they saw, and there was an intern from the radio station interviewing the residents. While on the air, a man with a red suitcase walked up to him and said to him sir leave right now he asked why and said he was just trying to find out why their there, the NASA guy confiscated his cell phone and wrote the number down to the radio station from the van they were driving and said to him You have caused enough damage by broadcasting this on the radio and made him leave.
The people living right next to the site have become sick after this light and boom. A 21 yr old woman just 3-4 days ago weighed 130 pounds and she now weighs 110, a 16 yr old boy has been throwing ..........[The post ends here. MMZ]
Dark Cigar Shape 3-281
Naples, FL May 11, 2004; 3:10 P.M. I was beginning to clean my pool which is on the west side of my home. I looked up into the southern sky and noticed a dark brown or black cigar shaped object in the southern sky. I checked the time and it was 310 p.m. on May 11, 2004. I had my son check the weather channel to see what the cloud ceiling was at the time and it was reported at 8500 feet. The sky was partly cloudy at the time of the siting. I observed the object for less than a minute and immediately went into my home to get my binoculars. When I returned outside, the object had vanished. I checked the sky in all directions and there wasn't any sign of the object. I, at first, thought it might be a blimp but since it disappeared....

Amber Light Fading and Reappearing 3-283
Kissimmee/ Poinciana FL May 7, 2004 10:48 P.M 1 hour duration. 1. Driving from work at the Orlando International Airport. 2.It was due South of the Airport and the two objects looked just like other objects I had seen throughout the year over Kissimmee. 3.A UFO because I have seen these kinds of objects through this year. 4.Compared it to radio towers, street lights, looked for changes in direction, movement angles etc. 5. Two objects hovering a fixed distance apart, one fading and in an out, but not changing color or distance from other. Color similar, but not identical to street light amber color. High in the sky over town of Poinciana. Objects appeared to be allowing itself to be photographed by locals. 6. Hovering appeared to fade in and out, first there were two then a third appeared.
A Thick Crystalline Color of Bleeding Light 3-233
Montverde, FL April 12, 2004, 10:57 P.M. Carla and I were walking our dog who began barking and straining at the leash to the sight or sound of the object. I was stunned by the sight and size of the object, Carla became afraid. We were both a bit spooked afterwards. A large bulbous metallic object that came straight towards us, brightly lit white and dimming to a violet color with a reddish aura that could be seen as if bleeding reflected in nearby clouds before it veered sharply left and peeled off until we lost sight of it at a treeline. Moments later and from the north 3 or more aircraft arced overhead. We never see more than 2 aircraft in flight together here, so that was almost as unusual as the object itself, but not quite as surreal. We do NOT wish to be identified as we saw what happened to our neighbors when they reported a UFO. Please respect our privacy.

Son Sees Rocket 3-214
Pensacola, FL. March 31, 2004 At approx. 300 PM CST today, 31st March,2004, I was driving north on 17th Ave in the East Hill neighborhood of Pensacola, Fl. My son was in the passenger seat beside me. All of a sudden he says,LOOK MOMMY There's a rocket flying underneath the moon. The moon was rising in the eastern sky, which was as clear and as blue as I have ever seen it. As I was driving, I didn't even look at first, just replied,Oh, its probably an airplane. My son was VERY excited at this point. He insisted it was a rocket not a plane so I looked out his passenger window. Well, there it was just like some of the photos of UFOs I have seen in the media over the years. It was very high up and far away but indeed it was underneath the moon. It was cylinder shaped bright white. The color of it being like the white beach sand in these parts when its wet and the sun is shining upon it. It appeared to being moving in the same direction as our car, North. Because I was driving, I told my son to keep an eye on it. He said it was moving very fast-faster than our car... Before I could pull over and get another look at it,my son told me it was gone. It disappeared just like that.What ever it was, IT WAS DEFINITELY NOT ANY TYPE OF AIRCRAFT I KNOW OF. My son asked if we had seen a flying saucer and I replied, Yea, I guess we have

Strange Object at Sunset 3-218
April 3, 2004, Near St. Petersburg, FL I was driving home from work on Saturday evening. I drive from Tampa to Saint Petersburg which is a westerly path. I had noticed the moon rising in the east when I left work at approximately 1800. The weather was cool and clear and the sky was blue and cloudless.
While crossing the Howard Franklin Bridge which joins Tampa to St. Pete, I was keeping an eye toward the sky to my left over McDill AFB which is south of the bridge and on a peninsula on the south end of Tampa. There was an air show this weekend and I thought I might be able to see an interesting plane or part of the air show. I have lived in or near bases all my life as my father is retired Air Force, my ex-husband was in the Air Force for 12 years and my daughter is now in the Air Force. I know many types of planes by sight and sound. I was a bit disappointed as I only saw one plane in the sky which looked like a commercial airliner, complete with contrails. The Tampa Airport was behind me to the NNE.
I drove on I275 across the bridge, heading SW I exited on the 118th Street exit which placed me due West again. At this point it was around 1845 and the sun was starting to touch the horizon. That's when I noticed what I first thought was Venus which I've seen on most nights when I'm driving home but about 3 times the size. I thought it odd to see it when it was still daylight, but convinced myself that's what it must be. It didn't twinkle or strobe, it was just a beautiful white orb about 12 the size of a full moon high in the sky. At this point I was pulled over on the side of the road so I could watch it. It slowly started to change shape, going from round to oblong. This seemed to be happening as the sun was setting lower in the sky. The final shape was almost triangular but with softer corners. As the sun went below the horizon, the light faded rather quickly then nothing but blue sky. I guess it was the sun reflecting on something.
I've not experienced anything like this before, other than an odd dream my daughter and I shared back in 1992. I hope others saw the object.

Tumbling Disk Bradon/Tampa 3-192
March 14, 2004 448 Travelling south on I-75 from Tampa FL to Brandon FL at 70mph. Object was in the air 100 2B feet off the ground. It appeared as a round object. At first I first I thought it was a larger colored balloon. As I neared the object's path I could see it was not a balloon but a disc object tumbling through the sky. Its speed was very slow as if it was being carried along by the wind. Its altitude was slowly rising. As the object tumbled through the sky I could see that it was disc shaped and could see the leading edge and slight convex shape as it turned. I thought perhaps it was a piece of flying debris. I decided to pull over on the side of the road to continue to look at it stopped 12 mile north of Brandon exit of I-75 The object had continued to tumble away at slow speed I would estimate 10 mph tumbling the entire way. I continued to feel that it was debris being carried along by the wind. I watched the object for several minutes as it traveled in a NW direction. The odd thing about the object was that despite its tumbling it did not loose altitude or speed from my point of view. The object made noise as it traveled nor did I see any emissions such as smoke or exhaust . I stood and watched the object for several minutes as it continued to tumble away. I eventually got in my car and continued. The object was still tumbling away and the same speed and apparently the same altitude

Fast Moving Object in Night Sky
Ft. Rucker, AL October, 1960. I was at Low Field, Ft Rucker AL. working out side at night as an aircraft mechanic. I had no reason to look; I just did and saw it. Had no idea then and still don't. Amazed and left with a great amount of wonder. It came from an east direction going in a west direction. Moving so fast it was difficult or next to impossible to show it to some one else. It moved an a straight line,at a very,very,high rate of speed, to say the least. It appeared to be about the size of a softball, maybe up to a volley ball. Red orange in color, with a long glowing red or orange tail. The tail looked like red hot sand cooling off, this lasted longer than the time it took the ball to cross the sky.This occurred 3 nights one after the other, but from slightly different directions.

Very Bright Clear Radiant Object 3-000
Destin, FL. December 5, 2003 7:15 P.M. I WAS LOOKING DIRECTLY SOUTH OVER THE GULF OF MEXICO WHEN I BEGAN TO LOOK TO MY RIGHT WEST AND BECAME AWARE OF A VERY BRIGHT OBJECT ABOVE THE HORIZON.THE OBJECT WAS MUCH MORE RADIANT THAN ANY STARS AND LARGER AS WELL. AT THIS POINT ANOTHER OBJECT WITH VARIOUS STROBES ON IT WAS CLOSING IN ON THIS OBJECT WHICH WAS ABOVE. I TOOK THIS SECOND OBJECT TO BE A MILITARY HELICOPTER DUE TO ITS SLOW SPEED. AS THE COPTER FLEW DIRECTLY UNDER IT THE BRIGHT OBJECT SIMPLY VANISHED AS IF TURNING OFF A LIGHT.THE SECOND OBJECT COME TO A STOP AND BEGAN A BACK AND FORTH FLYING PATTERN AS IF LOOKING FOR SOMETHING. THE BRIGHT OBJECT DID NOT REAPPEAR HOWEVER THE OTHER CRAFT, HELICOPTER , WHAT HAVE YOU , REMAINED IN THE SAME AREA FOR APPROXIMATELY THREE TO FOUR MINUTES LONGER AND CONTINUED TOWARDS LAND.

Large Bright Blue-White Lights at Intersection 2-995
Pensacola, FL. December 6, 2003; 10:00 P.M. We were going through a green light at an intersection from Pine Forest Road and bearing left onto Mobile Highway. Shortly after getting through the intersection which only had a couple cars waiting for the light to change sitting perpendicular to us we saw a small light behind trees that were a few hundred feet behind the lights rise up straight with no wobble. I immediately thought it was a helicopter and was not not worried but within seconds literally it rose up above the trees maybe as little as 50 feet and an intense whitish-blue light that was large in diameter shone into our mirrors. We never actually looked back but were very aware this wasn't a car as it isn't near a highway or close to an airport and there weren't any cars behind us going through the intersection. It was obvious to me that I hadn't seen anything like it before. The light was only visible for 5 seconds I'd say. Then it disappeared and at that point my brother and I both acknowledged seeing it and wondering what the hell it was. This is all in a short amount of time and we are still quite close to the intersection. I have no idea if my brother was even watching the road or if the radio was on or if the headlights dimmed. But, the oddest part about this is that almost immediately after we confirmed seeing the light to each other, I saw the traffic lights blinking red to green to yellow, on and on. Not necessarily in that order but it was only for about 10 seconds and it went back to normal like nothing had happened. We opened the windows and heard nothing. I did notice a car at the light that did not move during this period. We didn't want to just forget about it so we turned around and went back the way we came watching for anything mysterious. We saw and heard nothing. We are not Sci-fi buffs and are not going to be fooled into thinking it was a very quiet helicopter, if it were we would have heard something. I don't know if this matters but I mentioned it to a friend online and he said that he has seen lights many times at night and he has been in FL his whole life. He said Pensacola and Gulf Breeze are known for UFO sightings. Please let me know whatever you can related to the information I gave you, and sorry I don't know directional stuff well so I didn't fill in those sections. Thanks.

Bright Lights with Vapor Trail (2-903)
Pinellas County, FL. Oct. 23, 2003Witness observed a bright light that emitted a trail like an airplane but remained stationary.Witness also stated that object was observed by some members of local law enforcement and fire fighters as reported on local news channel. No other news or reports on this matter in local newspaper.Witness stated that news reports of law enforcement claimed to have seen additional objects in the shapes of triangles to have emitted from mothership or carrier ship

Dull Orange Glowing Vertical Cylinder (2-760)
Crestview, FL August 9, 2003: 4:30 A.M. 1. The object was sighted from my back yard hovering silently above a near-by AM/FM Radio Broadcast Tower two blocks West of my house.
2. I had to let the dogs out before I left the house for work at 0430 in the morning. I must leave at 0500 hours in order to arrive at work before 0600 hours. So I just happened to look up towards the West when this object caught my attention.
3. At first I thought it was a partial moon or half moon but I quickly discounted that by the vertical cylinder shape of this object.
4. I only had 20-25 minutes to observe this object before I had to leave the house for work, so I really didn't have much time to gather a reaction or feeling as to what I saw.
5. The object was a dull orange glowing vertical cylinder that hovered about 500 ft. above a near-by commercial radio broadcast tower approximately 2 blocks west of my house. The object moved slowly up and down and from side to side. It was also emitting or firing off small globes of white light at random from various directions. You didn't see a trail as these lights were fired off but only saw them when they flashed at various distances from the crafts, so they were definitely not marker strobe lights or navigation lights.
6. I lost sight of the object only when I had to depart my house to go to my job site.

Yellowish Green Lights Seen in Edge of Cloud from Airplane (2-761)
Over Florida: July 7, 2003 8:15 P.M.1. I was on my flight home from Florida on a jet at 20-30,000 feet at dusk. 2. A strangely beautiful lone cloud with pink-purple electrical lightshow win. 3. A hover craft was what it initially struck me as being w2 greenish-yellow lights staring out from inside the edge of the cloud, as if hiding. 4. Calm intrigued during sighting.Surprised I asked no one to witness, after. 5. Hovering, perfectly still. The plane moved past but the lights never moved. 6. I didn't notice it until I saw a lightning bolt come from under the cloud and I stared at until my plane went past it I lost sight as I looked back out my window.

Flying Police Car or UFO (2-720)
Ft. Walton Beach, May 15, 2003:I am a licensed light airplane pilot. I was standing in my driveway, my back propped against my van on the night of May 15, 2003 watching the progress of the lunar eclipse through binoculars. A shape I at first thought had wings and flashing a row of extremely bright red, blue, green, and white lights across its front surface flew into my binoculars' field of view. I had never seen an aircraft display the lights I saw on this thing. I wanted to believe it was a helicopter or airplane, both very common around here, but the thing was not lighted like the military aircraft that usually orbit Hurlbert Field, a USAF installation with a North-South oriented runway about three miles to the west of my home. Aircraft display a green position light on the starboard wing tip, a red position light on the port wing tip and a white lamp on the tail. Sometimes there are flashing red anti-collision lights on the upper and lower fuselage surfaces. Sometimes the machine might display flashing blue-white xenon strobe lights on the wing tips and tail, but this thing displayed an apparent row of tightly grouped, rectangular, multi-colored lights along its leading edge. Most unusual.
All the lights flashed on simultaneously in three quick pulses that repeated after about two beats. The object moved steadily from southeast to southwest at about 50 to 75 miles an hour.
It had passed below the moon, which was then in mid-eclipse, and I tracked it with binoculars for about four to six seconds. Then I watched it move along without the glasses. At first I thought it was an airplane. It was low because it passed in front of me from left to right and then disappeared from view behind a nearby horizon of housetops and trees in the west.
But the strangest thing about it was that it made absolutely no sound, none, nothing. Not a hum, not a buzz, not a whine, roar or whistle, not anything. It was perfectly silent.
I judge it to have been traveling at a 15 to 20 degree slant from me and about 12-mile distant at an altitude of 500 to 800 feet. As it passed, the colored lights flashing on it were powerful enough to be reflected and diffused by the moisture in the air. The light also dimly reflected off the pavement and houses. It was very low. It moved in a straight line and disappeared behind roof tops and trees in the west. It had one small, steady, white light showing on

Silver Blue Silent Craft (2-556)
West Palm Beach, May 7, 2003
I was outside in my back yard letting my dog back in. I looked up to see the moon. It was about 930 and the sky was dark with a quarter moon lit up. When I fist saw the object I thought it was something drifting off the trees..but then noticed it was high in the sky. I stood transfixed watching these two craft glide softly by in the air. Two objects in the sky were spaced evenly apart. Both were triangle in shape. Each triangle craft looked like there 3 balls all attached together to from a single craft in the shape of a triangle. Each craft was luminous like you could see through them but you couldn't. Both passed directly under the moon making it easy to see that they were not weather balloons. There was no sound as they passed. No flashing lights could be seen and they both had a very soft silver blue glow as they glided along. During this time there was and aircraft could be seen off to the right of them...You could see its flashing lights as it seemed to at first be moving in the same direction then went veering off to the my right from the ground. Moving quickly from the back yard through the house, grabbing husband and son...the only thing left in the sky to see was the plane. Both craft had vanished.

The witness was contacted by phone on May 8, 2003. There was nothing in the local newspaper about the sighting and to her knowledge no one had reported it. She had no further information about the sighting and apparently there were no other witnesses.
The witness seems to have had alien visitation previously throughout her life, but has not discussed it with anyone. I will maintain contact with her. MMZ

Round Red Light Slowly Falling (1-951)
Fermandina Beach, FL. June 16, 2002. I was on the side of my house looking at the sky smoking a cigarette. I saw it out of the corner of my eye at first. I thought it was an airplane because we have an airport in this town, but the object fell in the opposite direction. I felt totally calm and peaceful, intrigued during the event. it was a red sphere of light and it fell slowly from the sky behind some trees.

Cigar Shaped Object In Deland (2-329)
Deland, FL December 4, 2002: 8:00 A.M.
Witness stated that he had taken his step-son to see the eye doctor and that he was sitting in the office reading a book. As he was sitting there, something inside him told him to go outside but he ignored the feeling. Again, he got the same feeling and this time went outside, not knowing why. While outside, he rolled a cigarette and as he was rolling the cigarette he heard a loud noise that sounded like an owl hooting. He could not believe that an owl would be hooting in the daytime. As he started to scan the trees looking for the owl, he observed two cigar-shaped objects in the sky. They appeared to be playing tag, as one would zoom forward and stop until the other one would catch up; then the other one would zoom forward and stop. He watched these cigar-shaped objects for about 5 minutes, during which time the owl continued to hoot. As he watched the two craft, they appeared to go out like a light bulb going on/off - they were there and then they were not. At this time, he observed two other adults that were also watching the objects. He asked them if they were seeing the same thing as he was seeing and they said they were. He ask them for their names but they refused to give him that information and got into their vehicle and left. As he was standing there, he again heard the owl hooting and looked up and observed another cigar shaped craft. He does not know if it was one the original ones that he observed or a new one. It too would speed forward and then stop. He states that after a minute, it shut down like a light bulb and he could not see it any more. As he was looking in the sky, he observed 4 jet fighters circle the areas where the craft was observed and then they left heading east.
Witness states that he has had numerous UFO sightings in his life and that this was the first time that the had seen a cigar shaped object and the first time that he had seen fighter jets come to where the craft had been.
STATEMENT OF SOLUTION
I interviewed the witness on December 10, 2002, at 8:30 P.M., and he repeated his story 3 times and all the information was the same. The witness was very credible and I do not feel that this is a false report. I feel that this witness did observe something in the sky on the morning of December 4, 2002. I checked with the Deland Police Department and no other reports of UFO's were made on this date.
This witness is still being interviewed, therefore, I am closing with the codicil to reopen for further statements, if need be. 12-19-02 FS

Unidentified Lights Changing Configuration (1-740)
Lake Wales, January 15, 2002. At about 19:00 hours on 02/15/02 my wife and myself were standing in front of our house in Saddlebag Lake Resort in Lake Wales, in Polk County Florida. We were in the front drive and were looking up into the northeast sky in front of us. We noticed a bright long tail (at first thought it was an exhaust) with three bright long orange bars in front of it at an angle. It continued south for a little while towards us, then it turned to it's left (east)and continued up and away. (not a sweeping turn) As it turned we noticed a big circle in the middle (silver in color and it seemed to twinkle) with two smaller circles on each side that seemed to drop from the middle one and form a triangle. The smaller ones either faded out or went faster out of view. The main one kept continuing in an easterly fashion until we couldn't see it anymore. We have seen rocket launches before, but nothing like this. We have drawn pictures of what we witnessed.
STATEMENT OF SOLUTION
BACKGROUND: On 25JAN02 I received an email from Bland Pugh SSD Florida, informing this investigator of an email he received concerning a sighting on 01/15/02 in Lake Wales. Pugh believed that this could be a sighting like the one I was already investigating on the same day in Lakeland Florida, also in Polk County. I immediately contacted witnesses. I asked them for a statement and drawings of what they witnessed until I could make it down to their part of the county for an on-site investigation.
INTERVIEW:
On 02/19/02 this investigator, along with Investigator Sandor Toth visited sighting location/area in Lake Wales. We interviewed the couple, discussed the sighting and I took pictures on site. We were also informed of other couples in the senior community who had witnessed sightings.
FINAL SOLUTION:
This investigator was unable to locate additional witnesses to this sighting at this time. Witnesses said that there were many people out walking at that time in this community and is sure that some one else witnessed this. However after placing a notice on community website, no one responded. I have been told these sightings take place every year in the months of January & February. When the residents return this Fall we will post information on community website referring residents to MUFON FLPOLK should they witness a sighting. There will also be suggestions offered on this website.
I am recommending this case be closed at this time, but with the codicil that the case be reopened upon the gaining of further evidence. Bland Pugh Florida MUFON State Director 06-12-02
